Passionate about food

The award-winning Fox and Hounds is this haven. Food is fit for royalty, with meat arriving directly from The Crowne Estate next door and fresh fish coming straight from the Cornish coast to diners’ plates. Whilst the menu epitomises sterling pub grub, the food is far from the usual imaginings of standard fare. The Fox and Hounds kitchen takes classics and elevates them to the status of their blue-blooded suppliers.

We source only local fresh produce

We pride ourselves on serving good quality food made with the finest seasonal ingredients. The majority of our meat comes fresh from our local butcher and our neighbours at The Crown Estate in Windsor Great Park and our fish and shellfish comes mainly from the Cornish coast.

An update from The Fox and Hounds…

We have made the heartbreaking decision to close our takeaway business for the moment during these Tier 4 restrictions. It is absolutely not the decision we wanted to make but as with everything this year, the bigger picture is more important and we feel like the responsible decision is this one.

THANK YOU to everyone for all your lovely messages and well wishes when we announced we would be open for takeaway. They completely overwhelmed us. We’re gutted not to be able to provide you with a little break from all this madness that we so wanted to.

Look after yourselves and as soon as we have news that we can re-open safely we’ll let you know.

Much love to you all. X
